Is your child struggling?

Are you tired of constant misbehaviour, academic underachievement and the inability to sit still? Are you worried about your child's development? Whether you are a parent or a teacher we can help.

What are Primitive Reflexes?

Primitive Reflexes are automatic stereotyped movements directed from the brainstem. We don't think about them, we don't try to make them, they just happen. We need them when we are babies but after that - they don't serve us well in education, posture, or coordination activities. In fact, they become a real pain and cause Neuromotor Immaturity. This is a hindrance to children because they don't actually have full and automatic control over their body - and we all need our body to make sense of learning and process information.  Many children with learning disorders such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum, and Non-Specific Learning Difficulties as well as other neuro-developmental disorders are known to have retained primitive reflexes which contribute to their issues. We can ensure these reflexes no longer have any impact on your child's education, learning and development. By using the INPP movement programme we can help to develop the needed postural reflexes and the mature body/brain pathways that your child needs to succeed.  We believe in releasing children's fullest potential and we do that through movement and music.

Often children with handwriting, reading, spelling and other behavioural issues will have underlying reflex problems. These have gone undiagnosed and unknown for too long.  When primitive reflexes are put to sleep our children can finally use their cortex (or big thinking brain) to focus on the content the teacher and parent are trying to tell them - and learn, rather than focusing on keeping their bodies under control and remembering the information. Whether you are a parent of a child who is struggling or a teacher who wants to maximise the learning environment and curriculum for your children we can help you.

A huge thank you to Leanne from Without Limits learning. I approached Leanne just over a year ago to see if her programme could support my son with his overall wellbeing. My boy displayed social, emotional, behavioural and academic challenges. We had been working with his school who had concerns. We also approached a psychologist who felt that he was just a strong willed child. NOW 1 year down the track, after attending 6 weekly review sessions and daily exercises, I can honestly say that we have had a HUGE overall improvement!!! It was so satisfying for both my son and I to see the improvements after each review.

So thank you Leanne I would strongly recommend this programme to others.

It’s a beneficial and exciting programme

"Moves4LilMinds is a beneficial and exciting programme we implement everyday with our Tamariki. It takes less than 15 minutes to implement and we have seen improvements in posture, behaviour and overall well being. Children are more aware of their bodies and have the confidence to challenge their physical capabilities."
